Limestone the Living Rock DVD
Senior students, with staff support, at Nidderale High School and Community College are distributing the DVD's as a 'mini enterprise', with any small profit going towards the school's Kenyan agricultural project (a project in partnership with five schools in Nidderdale and five in Kenya, Lafarge Bamburi Quarry and Organic Farm, Mwamba Field Study Cebtre, Mida Ecocentre and The University of York and Sony International. This project aims to develop an agricultural training centre and medical clinic for students at all primary and secondary schools and citizens in the Mida area of coastal Kenya. The project will also make a material contribution towards the conservation of Arabuko-Sokoke Forest- the second most important forest in Africa for its bird life.
