Education 2011!
Early in 2011, there will be news about an educational film on DVD made by renowned filmmaker Sid Perou. Inspired by the geology and landscape surrounding the Coldstones Cut the film will be in 6 chapters looking at the formation of limestone, the extraction and use of limestone and the making of Coldstones Cut, including an interview with sculptor Andrew Sabin. The DVD has been supported by the Greenhow Landscape and Biodiversity Enhancement Fund and will be accompanied with worksheets for schools, a project led by Nidderdale High School and Community College.
