Created by the artist Andrew Sabin, The Coldstones Cut is Yorkshire’s most ambitious public sculpture. Integrated into the walls of one of the UK’s deepest quarries, The Cut is an immersive experience like no other. Exploring the sculpture is both a monumental physical experience and an opportunity to contemplate fundamental existential questions about where we are and what we do. It offers visitors the opportunity to look inwards, deep into the earth’s crust, as well as outwards over the spectacular contours of the Nidderdale National Landscape.
